Game Description

Friends is a Top-Down 2D puzzle adventure game where players play as an angler who is looking for 
his missing friends, but little did he know that the waters are filled with dangerous obstacle 
lurking in the dark and is up to him now to find his friends and be the light to guide them out of 
the dangerous area.

My inspiration

The inspiration for the game came from the theme my team decided on which is Simple Controls. The team wanted to make a game that focus on simple control that allow players of any age to pick up and play. The choice of using a fish as the main character derives from one of our prototypes where I accidentally stumbled upon the fish-like movement when experimenting with coding.

Light up the way

Players have the ability to light up nearby object to reveal it in the dark as well as interacting with it.

Obstacles are designed to cast a specific shadow to encourage exploration and discovery in-game
